Is Perfumed free?
Yes — Perfumed has a free plan called Curious, which includes 10 reviews, dynamic lists, a wishlist, and full access to our 100,000+ fragrance database. For unlimited reviews, upgrade to Explorer. For AI-powered taste matching and personalized recommendations, upgrade to Curator.
Who can see my fragrance reviews?
Only you — by default. Every review you write is private. Lists stay private until you choose to share one. There's no public profile, no social feed, and no algorithm pushing your taste anywhere.
How does the Scent Profile work?
Your Scent Profile reads every review you write and learns your taste — which notes you love, which you avoid, how you describe sillage and longevity. After three reviews, it matches every fragrance in the database to you with a personalized percentage and recommends scents you haven't tried yet. Available on the Curator plan.
How many fragrances are in the database?
Over 100,000 — covering mainstream releases, niche houses, indie brands, and discontinued classics. If a fragrance you've tried isn't listed, you can add it yourself and start a review in seconds. Available on every plan.
Can I review a discontinued or rare fragrance?
Yes. Many discontinued and vintage fragrances are already in the database, and if yours isn't, you can add it yourself. Your review keeps the memory of that scent alive — even if the bottle is no longer made.
What's the difference between the three plans?
Curious is free and gives you 10 reviews to try Perfumed. Explorer unlocks unlimited reviews and JSON export — built for active reviewers. Curator adds the AI Scent Profile, personalized match percentages, and recommendations — built for collectors who want to know exactly what fits them.
Does Perfumed work on mobile?
Yes. Perfumed runs in any modern browser on phone, tablet, or desktop. Native iOS and Android apps are coming soon.
What makes Perfumed different from Fragrantica or Parfumo?
Perfumed is private by default — your reviews are yours alone, not posted to a public feed. We focus on personal fragrance journaling and AI-powered taste matching, not community ratings or public forums. It's a quiet space for tracking what you actually think.
What does the AI use to learn my taste?
Only the reviews and tags you write inside Perfumed. Your Scent Profile is built from your own words — the notes you describe, the ratings you give, and the patterns across your reviews. We don't use external data, social profiles, or browsing history.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. On the Explorer and Curator plans, you can export all your reviews and lists in JSON format anytime. You can delete your account and all associated data instantly on any plan — no email back-and-forth, no waiting period.
